First of all, I would like to warmly thank all of you for being here today at the Tunisia Tourism Office in China. It is always a great pleasure and an emotional moment for me to welcome young talents and future global citizens.
I would especially like to thank Sunny Ren and Diplomat Magazine for their continuous efforts in building bridges between cultures and giving young people the opportunity to discover the world through dialogue, friendship, and mutual understanding. What you are doing through the XIAOFEIXIA exchange programs is truly inspiring.
Listening to Wang Ziqian’s speech touched me deeply. Your words remind us that friendship between nations begins with friendship between people, especially between young generations. You are not only students; you are young ambassadors of peace, openness, and cultural exchange.
Today, the relationship between Tunisia and China is stronger than ever. Beyond tourism, we share values of hospitality, respect for history, family traditions, and cultural richness. I strongly believe that exchanges like this help create a more connected and harmonious world.
Tunisia is a small country in size, but very rich in history, culture, and emotions. From the Mediterranean coast to the Sahara Desert, from the blue-and-white village of Sidi Bou Said to our ancient cities and traditions, Tunisia welcomes Chinese friends with open arms.
I sincerely hope that more young Chinese students will visit Tunisia in the future, discover our culture, meet Tunisian families, and create unforgettable memories. And of course, you are always welcome in Tunisia.
