I have just returned from an incredible and immersive three-day trip to the historic city of Wugang in Hunan, and my heart is full of gratitude.
From the moment we landed, the warmth and meticulous organization were evident. This journey was a beautiful blend of culture, history, and gastronomy.
We explored ancient streets under enchanting night lights , watched mesmerizing silk string and martial arts performances
A highlight was venturing into the countryside —making our own braised tofu, enjoying a spectacular tofu banquet , and gathering around a bonfire at Xiaomashan under the stars.
This was more than a tour; it was a deep dive into the soul of Wugang.
None of this would have been possible without the exceptional efforts of the organizers. A sincere and deep thank you to the Wugang Organizing Committee, the city government, and Diplomat magazine involved for your impeccable hospitality and generosity.
I will cherish the memories and flavors of Wugang forever!
